Natural sugars vs added sugars.

Natural sugars are naturally occurring sugars found in whole foods such as fruits, vegetables, and dairy products. These foods provide essential nutrients, vitamins, and minerals that are important for good health.

Added sugars, on the other hand, are sugars and syrups that are added to food during processing or preparation. These added sugars provide no essential nutrients and can have a negative impact on health when consumed in large quantities. Examples of added sugars include table sugar, high fructose corn syrup, and honey.

It's important to limit your intake of added sugars, as they can contribute to weight gain, poor oral health, and an increased risk of chronic diseases such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and certain types of cancer. Natural sugars found in whole foods, on the other hand, can be part of a healthy diet in moderation.
